Transportation to Stud Facilities for Live Cover (if needed)
Should live cover be the preferred method for your mare, we can coordinate professional local transportation to the appropriate stud facility so that she arrives safely and comfortably.
Full Care of Your Mare
From the moment she is confirmed in foal, we will provide her the comprehensive care she deserves, like regular veterinary check-ups, weight and overall health monitoring, and any necessary adjustments to her diet–we'll be by her side until she delivers her precious foal.
24/7 Foal Watch
As your mare's due date approaches, we will be on hand 24/7 to keep a close eye on her and are always prepared to intervene should any complications arise.
Expert Assistance with Foal delivery and Aftercare
Once the foal has arrived, we'll continue to monitor their health and provide any needed aftercare, such as umbilical care, vaccinations, and initial nursing support.
Permanent Boarding Options
At Shangri-La Farm, we know that finding the right home for your mare and foal can be a real challenge. That's why we offer permanent boarding options for them to stay with us long-term to give them continued care in a familiar, nurturing environment.
